BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) provides nonstop email access from your mobile phone.
It is very easy to set up email access for up to ten accounts. You can thus access
- your email through standard POP3, IMAP4, and, if necessary, OWA protocols
- email accounts on web servers, such as Seznam, Centrum, Volny, Google, Yahoo, etc.
You will then have access to each email account through their own icons on the desktop of your BlackBerry handset.
Internet access
Apart from nonstop access to your email, the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) also includes optimized web browsing (sites download faster and are easier to browse).
Synchronization of calendar and contacts
Synchronizing calendars or contacts and backing up and renewing all data can be carried out using a USB cable connection (with the help of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager application, which is included with every BlackBerry mobile phone package).
