System requirements for application installation for MS Vista and Windows 7

| RAM memory (recommended): | 512 MB and higher |
| Free space on disk: | 800 MB free space on the hard disk |
| Graphics card: | 16 bits (65,000 colors) |
| Browser: | Internet Explorer 6.0 or newer |
The service does not work with server versions of the above-mentioned operating systems and with older versions of operating systems than Windows XP. If you use Windows XP and you have more than one user’s account in the system, carry out the installation from the administrator’s account.
Service installation
- Download the complete installation package from our website.
- Make sure you have all security patches from Windows Update installed on your PC. If you do not, be sure to update the system.
- Remove all firewall programs and antivirus software from other manufacturers from your computer.

Terminate all running
programs (do not forget to save all your
work).
- Run the installation program. Follow the instructions that appear on your display. When installing the program you will be asked if you wish to Register the service online or if you wish to install it for a trial period.
- Choose the trial installation.
- When requested, restart the computer.
- After restarting the computer, complete the installation by following the instructions.
- Connect to the Internet and run the O2 PC Strážce service client by clicking on the green lock icon on the right tool bar. By clicking on the Check now option on the original screen, you will update the virus database and news related to the application.
These installation instructions do not replace installation instructions for the application.
Firewall programs and antivirus software from other manufacturers need to be removed prior to installation. This condition is required in order to ensure the flawless installation and operation of O2 PC Strážce. If this condition is not met, the application's functionality cannot be guaranteed and your data might be lost if there is a conflict between different antivirus programs.
Service activation
You can order and activate O2 PC Strážce even after you have installed the trial version. For your own safety we recommend activating the service before the trial version expires.
- Log into the My Account application and go to the My service section / Safety.
- If you have not ordered your preferred variant of O2 PC Strážce yet, order it in this section. The service registration codes will be displayed briefly with the selected service.
- Write down or copy your registration code (activation code).
- Run the O2 PC Strážce client using the icon on the right toolbar.
- In the main application window click on Tasks.
- Click on My registration and choose the Enter new registration key item
- Enter the activation key that you received in the My Account application and confirm it by clicking on Register.
- Your computer is now fully protected by O2 PC Strážce.
Setting up the service and technical support
You can set up O2 PC Strážce by clicking on the green lock icon on the right side of the navigation toolbar. The service does not request any further actions. If you need to take action, an exclamation mark will appear next to the icon.
