Tariff – Your selected bundle of services, including call rates and a monthly fee.

Monthly Fee – A regularly charged fee of the respective tariff.

If a tariff is used for part of a month only (the tariff was activated or changed during the month or any disconnected ), the aliquot portion of the monthly fee shall be charged.

Free Minutes / Free Calls – Free calls for a specified number of minutes or for a specified direction and call duration applied during the respective billing period to the national rate of the calls charged. Not applicable to operator services, NetCall *55, to data and fax traffic and to calls to numbers charged at a special rate. Unless stated otherwise, free minutes are also applied to free calls, and are carried over into the next billing period.

If a tariff is used for part of a month only (activation, change of the tariff or of its composition during the month, or disconnection for holidays), only the aliquot portion of the free minutes can be used.

The carried-over free minutes are applied prior to the application of current free minutes of the same type.

The carried-over free minutes that are also applicable to Video calls shall be used, unless used for Video calls, after the free minutes for the respective period have been used.

Free SMS - SMS applied during a given billing period to outgoing text messages to all national mobile networks (excerpt for SMS to fixed network and Premium SMS and reply SMS to the ICQ application ) on workdays, holidays and weekends. Unless explicitly stipulated otherwise, free SMS will be forwarded to the next period. In the case a tariff is used for an incomplete month (e.g. due to activation, change of tariff during the month, leaving for vacation etc.) a proportional part of free SMS can be used.

Price of SMS specified within individual tariffs - the rate of outgoing SMS to national mobile operator network, does not apply to SMS - direction fixed network, SMS to international numbers and Premium SMS and reply SMS to the ICQ application .

National Rate – The rate for outgoing calls from a mobile phone in the O2 network to any location throughout the Czech Republic, including all interconnection fees to fixed lines, to the O2 network and to networks of the other operators in the Czech Republic.

International Rate – The national rate increased by an international surcharge.

Special Rate – The rate for outgoing calls that is identical for all tariffs. Free minutes do not apply.

Minimum Commitment – The minimum commitment is considered to be the monthly fee which is part of a tariff. Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. shall give a discount from the Minimum Commitment to the subscriber, depending on the amount of the price of services provided to the subscriber in the respective billing period through the respective telephone number, from which the Minimum Commitment amount and the incoming or outgoing roaming costs shall be subtracted (hereinafter referred to as the “total amount”), according to the following rules: If the total amount is lower than or equal to the Minimum Commitment, Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. shall give the subscriber a discount from the Minimum Commitment worth the total amount. If the total amount is greater than the Minimum Commitment, Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. shall give the subscriber a discount from the Minimum Commitment worth the full amount of such a minimum commitment. In the event of a combination of various Minimum Commitments for the same phone number, the discount on every Minimum Commitment shall always be calculated separately.

Roaming – a service that enables using services of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. in networks of foreign operators with whom Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. has entered into a roaming agreement. Roaming can be used anywhere on a territory covered by the foreign operator’s signal. The use of services in foreign operators’ networks is charged in dependence on prices charged by these operators.

Use of services in the networks of foreign operators is charged for depending on the prices of those operators.

O2 Expres Voicemail Service – The services are activated upon signing the Contract, and enable the caller to leave a voice message for the person called.

If the O2 Expres Voicemail Service is not used for 3 months, it may be automatically deactivated.

You can ask the Customer Care Department of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. for reactivation.

Misuse of benefits provided as part of a tariff or marketing campaign – The misuse is also considered to be (a) artificial or automatic generation of calls or messages (b) use of a benefit primarily in order to gain any other financial or other benefit for the subscriber or a third party, which exceeds the benefit granted, to the detriment of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. (c) use of a benefit to the extent exceeding the maximum anticipated subscriber habits, i.e. 10,000 minutes of calling per month; in that case, Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. is entitled to charge the subscriber a standard rate, unless the subscriber proves that this was a standard use of the service. Misuse is prohibited.
