Call Holding
Even when you're talking on the phone, you don't have to miss a single call. Simply put the first call on hold and accept the second. You can return to your original call at any time.
The Call Holding service will enable you to interrupt your current call and receive a second one. Once you have finished speaking with the second caller you can return to your original phone call.
Service benefits
- you will not miss a single call
- setting the service up and activating it is free of charge
- put up to four calls on hold on a digital line
- switch between calls on hold
Once a call is put on hold, the caller will hear the message "Please hold the line, as we try to connect you." You can renew any of the calls you have on hold during your call, you can switch among the calls, you can terminate one of them, or you can call somebody else.
You can have one active call and one call on hold on a fixed-line. If you have the basic ISND connection, you can hold up to four calls at once (two terminals at most).
For instructions on how to put a call on hold, consult your phone's instruction manual with your phone.
You can only operate this service with a touchtone phone. If you lease a rotary-dial phone, you can request to have it replaced free of charge.
When a call is on hold, the same tariff applies as if the call were active.
