Missed calls
The Missed Calls service lets you know who was trying to reach you when you were out of signal range or your phone was switched off. Whenever you miss a call, the caller’s phone number is noted and sent to you via SMS.
Until now, if your phone was switched off or if you were out of signal range, you wouldn't know who was trying to contact you. But when you activate the Missed Calls service, O2 will SMS you a list of the phone numbers of those who called. (Up to 20 unique phone numbers divided into 1 - 5 SMS messages)
Service activation
To activate the Missed Calls service:
- Send an SMS containing the keywords ZHO A to the phone number 999111.
- Or call the Customer Care Center at *11. Calls are toll-free when made from O2 phones in the Czech Republic.
The service is gradually being activated for all current and new O2 network customers.
To deactivate the Missed Calls service:
- Send an SMS containing the keywords ZHO D to the phone number 999111.
- Or call the Customer Care Center at *11. Calls are toll-free when made from Eurotel/Go phones in the Czech Republic.
Format of the SMS message
You will be notified of missed calls via SMS (up to five messages). Missed calls (up to 20) are listed in chronological order, with the most recent call listed first.
The SMS will tell you:
- the total number of missed calls
- the caller's phone number in the international format (in quotes)
- number of attempts (if more than once, in parentheses after the phone number)
- date and time of the missed call
Example of an SMS message
Uzivatel uvedeny jako odesilatel SMS zpravy se Vam pokousel 26.01. 10:30 2 x dovolat. Zpravu zdarma odeslal O2 prostrednictvim sluzby Zmeskane hovory.
(A user indicated as the sender of SMS messages attempted to call you twice on January 26 at 10:30. O2 sent this message to you for free through the Missed Calls service.)
first you will receive an SMS informing you of the most recent missed calls. In the event of more attempts from a given phone number to reach you, the date and time of the last attempt correspond.
Terms and Conditions
- All O2 network customers may use this service.
- Activation and use of the Missed Calls service (including the incoming SMS messages) are free of charge.
- The service is compatible with all phones in the O2 network.
- The service is not compatible with Kombi Cards and IZS cards.
Customers may activate this service whether they use voice mail or not. Voice mail users will be notified of missed calls only when the caller left no voice mail message.
