O2 Life
O2 Life was launched in 2006 as a programme of activities created for all employees to help them understand O2 corporate values and provide them with an opportunity to make up a company where and for which they want to work. Employees – Pilots now work in groups focused on concrete corporate aspects, and under the Stream Leaders management they cooperate to develop the respective areas.

The Ducats programme awards “less, partial” successes and addresses all employees. Each employee may give a ducat to their colleagues if they are satisfied or pleased with a result, output, behaviour or cooperation with the particular colleague. These ducats appear in the Telephone Directory. We believe that this is going to be another step to a friendlier atmosphere in our company.

A healthy company stands on healthy employees and that is why we try to take care of our employees’ health. The example of a health protection event is the Life without tobacco campaign, which took place in October 2007 in regions and was aimed to measure the content of carbon oxide in employees’ lungs and educate them about smoking risks. Employees in České Budějovice, Kolín, Ústí nad Labem and Ostrava just exhaled in a special testing device and got information on the level of carbon oxide (CO) in their lungs. In addition to the carbon oxide values they were given leaflets containing information regarding the impact of carbon oxide on a human body, the effects of smoking (even passive), how the body reacts if we stop smoking and particularly how to stop smoking.
