Fixed-line SMS
You can send SMS messages not only from mobile phones, but also through fixed lines or a special computer application.
With the Fixed-line SMS service you can send SMS messages from SMS telephones and terminals, or the eSMSkator application, to a fixed telephone line. If you are sending an SMS to a classic telephone, your message will be read aloud to the receiver through a "text to speech" application, or delivered to the receiver's voice mail box.
Receipt and delivery of SMS messages
- 160 characters in text form or converted to voice
- delivery through email or fax
- messages can be sent to all mobile and fixed networks, both domestic and international
- SMS messages sent from mobile networks can be received in fixed networks
The service is intended for:
- customers with fixed or digital lines
- customers with end-user devices that support the writing, delivery, and receipt of SMS messages
- people who use the eSMSkator (only for sending SMS messages)
- customers who have activated the CLIP (Calling Line Identity Presentation) service
Please note: When the CLIP service is not functional, it is possible to send SMS messages in text format; however, SMS messages will be received in voice format only.
