Transfer a fixed line
You can keep your current phone number even if you move. Simply ask to have your fixed line transferred.
If you move but want to keep your current phone number and services, you can ask to have your fixed line relocated. There are several ways to do this – simply choose the one that best suits your needs.
In person at an O2 Shop
Visit one of our O2 Shops and bring all the required documents. Our employees will help you fill in the corresponding form and the process of transferring your line will begin immediately.
Electronically, through the Customer Portal
Fill in the online form at our Customer Portal (Czech only) and send it to us with your contact address. We will send you the prepared form, together with a list of all required documents, by post. Simply sign the form and send it and the required documents to O2.

Fill in the form and post it together with the required documents to:

We will send you a certified copy of the form for your records.
If you need assistance completing the form, call our toll-free customer care line at 800 123 456. At your request, the operator will fill in the form for you and mail it, together with a list of all required documents, to the address you provide. Then just sign the form and send it and the required documents to O2.
When completing the form, do not forget to enter your, or the account holder's, reference number. You can find this number in the upper left corner of your bill for telecommunications services.
Required documents
To speed up the transfer process as much as possible, and to ensure your line's security, we ask that you submit a few other documents together with the request form. You can either post them, together with the signed form, to our address or submit them in person at one of our O2 Shops.
- proof of identity (ID, passport)
- entrepreneurs – confirmation of business (trade license or an extract from the Commercial Registry; no older than three months)
- approval of the owner of the premises to which the line is being transferred – confirmation (in Czech only) that the owner/administrator of the property approves the transfer of the line to the building and authorizes Telefónica O2 Czech Republic employees to enter the building
