Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions are meant to help our non-Czech customers understand the terms of service. Please refer to the Czech version of this page for the complete, legally binding terms and conditions.
- Valid with a minimum monthly credit top-up of CZK 400 in a given calendar month.
- Previous top-ups for tariffs other than the O2 Mix tariff are not taken into account even if the top-up took place in a given calendar month e.g. for another tariff.
- The customer will only be given the net amount of their credit recharge, iwithout bonuses for recharging.
Prepaid services
with the O2 TXT, O2 Mix, and O2 Fajn tariffs can be used after they have been paid for; these services can be used within 45 days following activation of the tariff in the event that the amount of credit for prepaid services
is less than CZK 100, or a period of six months following payment in the amount of CZK 100 to 499, or a period of 12 months following payment exceeding CZK 500. With every payment, the period of use of prepaid services
is prolonged to the period that corresponds with the amount of the top-up used to cover prepaid services
. You can get information about the period of usage of the prepaid services
you have paid for at any time by entering the code *104*# on your phone. Information will be sent to you in the form of an SMS message.
If you want to switch to a different tariff with prepaid services
, you can choose between the O2 Fajn and O2 TXT tariffs. The first tariff switch is free, every subsequent switch costs CZK 95 (including 19% VAT). This amount is deducted from the credit on the customer's O2 SIM card
.
Pricelist
The first change of the O2 tariff is free of charge. Every subsequent one costs 95 CZK (incl. 19% VAT). This sum is deducted from the O2 SIM Card credit. The prices of international calls, international SMS messages, and other services are the same for all O2 rates. O2 Original, O2 Quatro, O2 Fun, and O2 Special tariffs can only be activated from a purchased O2 set in which this tariff is preset. Switching to these tariffs from another O2 tariff is not possible. Switching to another O2 GSM tariff is only possible in the event that the prepaid O2 service is active, i.e. that the period since the last SIM card credit recharge has not exceeded 12 months, the phone number has not changed, and unused credit to a maximum amount of CZK 10,000 is transfered to the selected tariff.

For calls to O2 Blue Lines and the Voice Mail service (960 xxx xxx), the customer is charged the same rate as for calls to a fixed network, in correspondence with their tariff. The rate for data access to a LAN/intranet (the O2 OnePort service) is the same as the rate for Mobile Internet (in accordance with the customer's data tariff).
*1 The specified rates will apply to calling and SMS, provided that the customer recharges their SIM card with at least CZK 400 (excluding bonuses) no later than the last day a calendar month. The specified rates will apply in the following month. These rates will also apply the next day from 7am after activation of the O2 prepaid card.
*2 If the customer tops up their credit with less than CZK 400 (excluding bonuses) in a calendar month, the specified rates will apply in the following calendar month.
*3 After December 31, 2008, a standard rate 8.70 of CZK/minute will apply. The fee for the O2 Web Video service is the same as the fee for O2 Video Calling, for which the customer is charged per full minute .
When calling in the Czech Republic, billing is as follows: O2 Original, O2 Special, O2 TXT, O2 Mix, O2 Fajn, O2 Felicia - the customer is charged the first full minute then every 30 seconds; O2 Fun - the customer is charged for the first whole minute, then per second.
WAP, O2 Data, Voice Mail - the customer is billed for every 30 seconds initiated after their call is connected.
