How to call when abroad

You can also make full use of your mobile phone when you're abroad. Thanks to our roaming services, you can make and receive calls, send and receive SMS and MMS messages and email, and connect to the Internet just like you can at home.

Activate one of the following roaming services.

O2 Roaming

Full voice roaming is designed for customers with a written contract who meet the following requirements:

  • they have paid their last three consecutive invoices for mobile services properly and on time
  • their contract does not contain any limits in terms of O2 Roaming activation

Note: In the event that you do not meet these requirements, you can pay a deposit of CZK 5,000, which will be refunded after three months, or you can activate O2 Easy Roaming .

O2 Easy Roaming

The service is designed for customers with a written contract and it enables only the following types of calling:

  • within the visited country
  • to the Czech Republic

Receiving incoming calls abroad, reception and delivery of SMS messages, and other services do not have any limits. The first paid invoice is all that is required in order to activate the service. Activation is free of charge, no fees or refundable deposits are required. O2 Easy Roaming rates are the same as O2 Roaming rates.

How to activate roaming services

Both services can be activated via the customer care line at *11 or *30.

O2 Eurotarif will be activated automatically as part of your voice roaming activation (O2 Roaming and O2 Easy Roaming). You have the option of exchanging this tariff for a different one - O2 Smart Roaming.
