Voice Mail (mobile)
Call forwarding options
Choose from a variety of call forwarding methods to redirect calls to your Voice Mail. Calls can be forwarded if you're out of signal range, if you're not answering the phone, or if your line is busy. You can also set specific numbers to be directed to Voice Mail every time they call you.
Instant (unconditional) forwarding
This forwarding method is recommended for situations in which you do not wish to be disturbed. All incoming calls will be forwarded directly to Voice Mail, and your phone will not ring at all; this also enables you to avoid paying international fees for incoming calls when roaming
abroad. Under this setting, you can call out, but no one can call in.
Conditional forwarding
This method of forwarding is ideal for any of the following situations:
- if you are out of signal range, or if your phone is switched off
- if you are not answering your phone (Voice Mail can be activated after a selected number of rings)
- if your phone is busy
If you have activated Call Waiting, this type of forwarding will not be used (the second call will be put on hold). If you have activated forwarding for when you are not answering the phone, the second call will be forwarded into your voice mail after the set number of rings.
Individual types of conditional forwarding can be combined as you wish.
Forwarding calls when roaming
If you have activated conditional forwarding to Voice Mail and you are currently in an O2 Roaming zone, you will pay for:
- an incoming call from the Czech Republic
- an outgoing call to the Czech Republic
If you have activated instant forwarding of calls to voice mail, you do not pay anything.
