O2 Aktuality

With the O2 Aktuality service, you get the most important reports from the ČTK news service directly on your mobile. You no longer have to go searching for the most important events taking place in the domestic and international political stages. Every day at around 18:00 these events can be delivered in the form of an SMS directly message to the display of your mobile phone. Simply activate O2 Aktuality.

The service also includes the delivery of the latest news from the world of sport. Every evening at 19:00 you can check out, for instance, the results of the day's most important matches right on your mobile phone.

In addition to this, O2 Aktuality provides you with information about weather forecasts for the coming days. At 18:30 you will know whether or not to bring an umbrella, or attach snow chains to your car's tires, for the following day's commute to work.

O2 Aktuality is also prepared for the sudden occurrence of significant events (e.g. presidential elections) that happen once, or at most twice, per year. Through SMS messages, you get information that you should definitely not miss.

Prices

• for every SMS message you receive, you pay a mere CZK 1 (CZK 1.19 incl. VAT).
  Every day you receive:
  one message about domestic, as well as international, political news
  one news item from sports
  one message with a weather forecast for the following day
  
• Use of O2 Aktuality costs just CZK 3 (CKZ 3.57 with VAT) per day

Activation and deactivation

• Via SMS
  You can activate the service simply by sending an SMS with the keyword A CTK A to the phone number 999 888. You can deactivate the service in the same way, just send an SMS with the keyword D CTK A to the same number.
  
  
• Via Internet
  You can also activate O2 Aktuality yourself at moje.o2active.cz.
  
  
• Via WAP
  If you prefer using WAP , activate the service in this manner. If you have not set our WAP site as your homepage on your phone, then enter the address wap .o2active.cz and activate O2 Aktuality according to the instructions in the clearly structured menu.
  
  
• Menu *111*#
  In a similar way, you can activate the service on your phone with the help of the interactive *111*# menu. Dial this number on your phone, call it the same way you would for a normal call, and follow the directions
