SIM card Kombi
One for business, one for friends and family – the SIM card Kombi gives you two numbers on a single SIM
O2 customers can now have two phones in one. The SIM card Kombi offers two independent telephone numbers on one SIM card . Each phone number can contain a different set of services that best match the different needs of each number. And the newest version of the Kombi Card now makes it much easier to work with both telephone numbers, including the option to use GSM Banking services. O2 is the only operator in the Czech Republic (and one of the few operators in the world) offering this service.
The SIM card Kombi allows you to have one phone number for business purposes and another one for your personal calls. Simply use your phone's menu to switch between numbers as needed. The two phone numbers are independent of each other and can be billed separately. Even better, the SIM card Kombi automatically recognizes the active number and can send all incoming calls (for either number) to it.
How the SIM card Kombi works
The SIM card Kombi comprises two telephone numbers - A and B. Each of these telephone numbers is independent, i.e. calls made from number A are charged to account A, calls made from number B, are charged to account B. Both numbers share the same telephone list (up to 180 items) and a library to save SMS messages (up to 10 messages). To work with or switch between numbers, just go to the SIM card Kombi item in your phone's main menu.
Using the phone numbers
Once you switch on your telephone, you will be asked to enter a PIN code. Depending on which PIN code you enter, the telephone will recognize which phone number you want to sign in for.
- If you add the number 1 to the end of your PIN code, phone number A will be activated (marked as "Personal Number" in the SIM card Kombi menu).
- If you add the number 2 to the end of your PIN , phone number B will be activated (marked as "Business Number" in the Kombi Card menu).
- To simplify the process, you can set one phone number as the "Main account" in the SIM card Kombi menu. Then, when you switch on your phone, just enter your PIN code and the "Main account" number will be automatically activated.
- If you enter the wrong PIN and your SIM card becomes blocked, you can unblock (either number) by entering one PUK code.
Using the menu
The SIM card Kombi menu is located in your phone's main menu. With it you can easily:
- Switch between phone numbers at any time.
- Set the currently active number as your "Main account" for automatic sign in.
- Rename both accounts (they are pre-set as "Personal Number" and "Business Number").
- Use GSM Banking services from the active Personal Number.
Automatic call forwarding
Only one telephone number can be active at a time. However, your business partners or friends will always be able to reach you no matter which number they dial, as calls will be automatically transferred to the active number.
- All calls made to the inactive telephone number will be transferred to the active number.
- Forwarding is free of charge.
- You must have voice mail activated to use this function.
Possible tariff combinations
You can transfer one or two current O2 telephone numbers (with corresponding tariffs) to the Kombi Card, or you can activate it with brand new numbers and tariffs.
- Telephone number A must use a standard O2 tariff.
- Telephone number B can use either a standard O2 tariff or prepaid O2 prepaid services .
Separation of phone numbers
The phone numbers on the SIM card Kombi can be easily separated onto separate SIMs.
- If phone number B is leaving the card, then the owner of account B visits a brand store to have phone number B transferred from the SIM card Kombi to a new SIM card .
- The A number can be transferred from the SIM card Kombi to a new SIM card Kombi or to a new SIM card .
- All participants who have been using SIM card Kombi services for at least 6 months get a reduced fee of CZK 94.80 (not including VAT) for the issuing of a new O2 Kombi SIM card .
