Terms and conditions

Fixed and mobile networks under one roof. O2 works to your advantage.

These terms and conditions are meant to help our non-Czech customers understand the terms of service. Please refer to the Czech version of this page for the complete, legally binding terms and conditions.

  • The offer only applies to calls to selected numbers in the O2 network in the Czech Republic.
  • Only O2 customers can use the service.
  • The service can be activated by sending an SMS with the keyword DOMU xxxxxxxxx to the phone number 999 235, where xxxxxxxxx is the fixed-line or mobile number that you wish to call for FREE.
  • The service will be activated on the day following activation at the latest.
  • Customers using O2 prepaid services cannot activate or change the service or add other numbers after July 1, 2008; however if they are already using the service, it will be active for an unlimited period of time. As soon as the service is deactivated - either because it is deactivated directly or because the customer has insufficient credit - it will not be possible to reactivate it.
  • A number can be deactivated at any time by sending an SMS with the keyword DOMU D xxxxxxxxx to the phone number 999 235, where xxxxxxxxx is the fixed-line or mobile number that you wish to take away from the group.
  • One's entire group of numbers can be deactivated at once by sending an SMS with the keyword SKUPINA DOMU D to the phone number 999 235. Deactivation can be also carried out by calling the *11 line in the voice system.
  • Deactivation of one's entire group is free of charge.
  • If you have two numbers in the group and you deactivate one of them, the customer is charged a fee of CZK 49.40 (including VAT) for making this change.
  • If you change the third number in the group less than seven days following the previous change, the customer is also charged a fee of CZK 49.40 (including VAT) for making this change.
  • We recommend that customers with postpaid tariffs deactivate or change the service at the start of their next billing period, otherwise all calls in the given billing period will be billed.
  • If you wish to activate the Call Home for Free service on a number for which you are already using O2 Star, O2 Spolu, or O2 Duet, deactivate the service on that number first. (Note: Once a postpaid customer deactivates the Duet service, the entire service between the two phone numbers is cancelled). The service can be used with a number from a different group in the case of O2 Tandem. The Call Home for Free service cannot be used if customer's participant number is included in the crises management project.
  • Free calls to selected numbers apply as soon as all free minutes have been used up with the Call Home for Free service.
  • If the customer breaches the terms and conditions of the service, Telefónica O2 reserves the right to limit or cancel the customer's service. Unused prepaid services lapse and the provider does not refund their value.
  • The Call Home for Free service does not apply to calls made within roaming and it cannot be used for audio-text directions.

The discount on calls will not be applied if the service is demonstrably abused. Calls demonstrating signs of automatic dialing, calls made for the purpose of personal financial gain or the financial gain of a third party, or calls to one number lasting more than three hours a day can be regarded as abuse.
