O2 TV – entertainment on two screens
12.5.2008
A film from the Videotéka (Video Library) is playing on one television in the household and an episode of a popular serial is on a second one - Telefónica O2 introduces Multi. This new service for O2 TV digital television lets customers watch different channels on two television sets situated in different parts of their flat or home.
"Nowadays, many households have two televisions. It is only logical that if they get O2 TV, members of a family want to watch different channels from its wide selection on both sets. And the Multi service lets them do just that," says Jan Karas, Director of Segment Marketing, Telefónica O2, adding: "The Multi service works with any television equipped with a SCART or HDMI connector."
Both new and existing customers have the opportunity to watch shows on two television sets. No additional activation of O2 TV is required in order to activate O2 TV Multi. The customer simply needs to order Multi and they will automatically receive a second set-top box (for their second television) and a new modem with two ports, which Multi requires. The customer pays just CZK 50 with VAT per month for the service. They rent the second required set-top box for CZK 150 with VAT per month, or they can buy it for CZK 3,499 with VAT. The customer gets the new modem for CZK 1. The basic channel package, as well as any additional packages, that they have ordered is then accessible on both sets. The Multi service can be activated by calling 800 02 02 02, or at any O2 shop.
Special offer during the month of May
With the activation of any basic channel package O2 TV Kino (Cinema), O2 TV Zábava (Entertainment), or O2 TV Sport, customers who order O2 TV now get a 50% discount off the regular monthly fee for the first three months. For new customers, activation, the modem, and set-top box rental cost just one crown each. Also, customers pay merely two crowns per month for the first two months of using additional packages Děti Plus (Children Plus), Dokumenty Plus (Documentaries Plus), Filmy Plus (Films Plus), and Sport Plus.
