330,000 O2 customers have free fixed-line calling
More than 330,000 O2 customers now do not pay for calls they make from fixed lines and call for free within the framework of their monthly fee.This follows from Telefónica O2 statistics. The role of the fixed line is gradually changing in households, as it not only enables customers to call at very favorable rates, it also provides a reliable Internet connection as well as the unique O2TV digital television service.
" With a fixed line, customers get much greater added value than in the past. Our strategy is to offer it to customers so that they do not pay for fixed-line calls and get it for free with any of the tariffs, "says Matts Johansen, Chief Marketing Officer for the Consumer Segment,Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, adding, "Additionally, through fixed lines, customers have access to other services, such asO2 Internet ADSL or O2TV digital television, which offers 63 channels and a virtual video rental shop."< /span>
To make free calls from fixed lines, customers use theO2 Volno or the new O2 Volám tariff the most frequently, with the latter currently being the most popular. Two-thirds of all customers who decided to change their tariffs to a fixed line have activated O2 Volám, for which they pay CZK 582 (with VAT) per month and get 800 minutes for calls to numbers in all fixed networks in the Czech Republic every month.
The O2 Volám tariff can also be combined with O2 Internet ADSL high-speed Internet or O2TV digital television as part of the advantageous O2 Duo and O2 Trio service bundles, which provide customers with substantial savings in comparison with having the services set up individually.
Customers can change their tariff to O2 Volám at any O2 Shop or by calling the toll-free customer service line at 800 123 456.
