Effective as of May 1, 2008 Vice President for Finance of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic Ramon Ros will leave the company. He has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer for O2 UK. Ramon Ros will be replaced by Jesús Perez de Uriguen who will join Telefónica O2 Czech Republic also in May. Jesús Perez de Uriguen is currently Chief Financial Officer in Telefónica Centroamerica.

I know that his experience, wealth of knowledge of the industry and European market will continue to be a great asset to the businesses within Telefónica O2 Group,"stated Salvador Anglada, Chief Executive Officer of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic and continued: " Jesús de Urigen has great experience in telecommunications and finance specifically. I welcome Jesus to the Czech Republic and our team. I am looking forward to our cooperation."
In the past Jesús Perez de Uriguen worked for Arthur Andersen, Jazz Telecom and Telefonica Moviles, S.A. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland at College Park and later achieved his MBA degree at Instituto de Empresa.
