O2 eliminates limits for transferring data
Telefónica O2 has prepared a pleasant surprise for its customers this spring. From April 1, 2008, the operator is eliminating limits for transferring data (application of the FUP - Fair User Policy) for all speeds of the O2 Internet ADSL service.
" Through continuous monitoring of market demands, and primarily thanks to new technology that has been implemented into the network, we are able to accommodate the growing needs of our customers. Therefore, we have decided to eliminate the volume limits for transferring data, there existence in no longer necessary,"says Matts Johansen, Chief Marketing Officer, Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, adding, "This is another significant step in the ongoing improvements to the quality of ADSL data services for the customers."
Therefore, customers can download, and upload, as much data as they want without worrying about a slow connection at the end of the month. The flow of data within the network can be managed only in the event of a network overload. The elimination of data transfer volume limits is valid for new and existing subscribers of O2 Internet ADSL services, including broadband ADSL Internet connections that are part of the advantageousO2Trio,O2Duo, andO2Duo Mobil service bundles, and that are included in theO2Internet Komplet andO2Internet Komplet Business services.
