O2 offers a comfortable way of sending SMS messages starting from CZK 0.50 per message

Starting from tomorrow, all customers of the mobile services provided by Telefónica O2 can send text messages at CZK 0.50 only, provided that they use the O2 SMSender application to communicate in this electronic form. From 1 st February until the end of April, the special price per text message directed to the provider' s own network will be reduced to CZK 0.50 (i.e. CZK 0.42 excl. VAT). This special offer applies automatically to both new and existing users of the service. The main aim is to introduce the advantages of the O2 SMSender application, which ranks among the most comfortable solutions for text and multimedia communication.
" Text messages are very popular among the Czech customers - in fact, they are the second most popular service after voice services. Text messages have already found their customers not only in the residential segment but they are used for communication by entrepreneurs and large corporations, too. For this reason, we decided to create the O2 SMSender application in order to make it even more popular among other customers, too,"comments Jan Karas, Marketing Director - Residential Segment of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, on this special offer.
O2 SMSender is a solution that enables the customer to use a computer as a tool to write and send text and multimedia messages to the networks of all mobile operators. This application can be downloaded free of charge and after installation and registration it offers maximum comfort when sending text and multimedia messages. The service includes also all the advanced functionalities such as, for instance, to send messages to groups of users, to edit multimedia messages, to send contacts as'business cards', to store and forward received messages in a user-friendly way and to view statistics of the quantity of both sent and received messages over a defined period of time.
Customers are very interested in using this application, particularly due to its convenient and universal nature. The O2 SMSender application can be installed in 3 ways: You can either install it as a separate programme, or it can be installed as part of the MS Outlook, or even as part of the Internet Explorer.
After this special offer a text message to any network will cost CZK 1.90 (or CZK 1.60 excl. VAT). Further details about the application including a detailed pricelist and instructions for installation are available atwww.cz.o2.com/smsender.
