Czech Lions in the O2 TV Video Library
Telefónica O2 has decided to connect its name with this year's Český lev (Czech Lion) awards. The operator not only awarded a special prize as part of the nomination evening, it has also prepared a special Czech Lions category in the O2 TV Videotéka (Video Library). Also, viewers can now rent films from the O2 TV Video Library for very favorable prices.
Telefónica O2 is supporting this year's Czech Lion awards. As part of the nomination evening, company representatives awarded a prize for the Most Downloaded Czech Film of 2007. The prize went to producer and director Jan Svěrákfor his film Vratné lahve (Returnable Bottles). This movie was the third most downloaded in the O2 TV Video Library last year, after the titles Happy Feet and 300.
In connection with this, a new category called Český lev (Czech Lions) has been launched in the O2 TV Video Library. In this section, users can watch clips from all 18 nominated titles, and they can rent several of the films nominated this year, as well as winners from past years.
Viewers can also take advantage of a special offer through which they can get three films for the price of two. From March 1, 2008, customers who use the O2 TV can rent three titles for the price of CZK 116.62 with VAT. Customers will save CZK 58.30 with VAT. The offer is valid for a period of one month and applies to hundreds of titles from the Films and Czech Films categories.

The O2 TV Videotéka (Video Library) is a virtual video rental shop that is part of O2 TV digital television. It enables subscribers to choose from more than 550 films, documentaries, serials, and fairy tales directly from their television screens for their viewing pleasure. They simply need to make their choice, press a button on their remote control, and the title is theirs to watch for the next 24 hours. During that period, the customer can then watch the program or film as often as they wish. The selection of films in the Video Library is constantly growing and expanding to include the latest and most requested titles.
