Eurotel Extends Mobile TV Services Offer and Makes Selected Services More Attractive
Prague, 26th June 2006 – on 1st July 2006 Eurotel Praha, spol. s r.o. is launching an extended offer of services provided through the Eurotel Live! infotainment portal in the UMTS network. Improved conditions for use of Eurotel On-line Traffic Cameras and Mobile TV services will also apply from the date.

Through our UMTS network and Eurotel Live! portal we bring our customers a unique portfolio of services providing them with information they need directly in their mobile, and for reasonable price," says Stanislav Kůra, Chief Strategy and Product Development Officer of Eurotel Praha, spol. s r.o., and he adds: "After the tremendous success of Hockey TV, bringing this year's World Ice Hockey Championship directly to subscribers' mobile handset displays, we give our customers an opportunity to watch live broadcast four TV channels."
The UMTS services enabling transmission of data as well as of voice, video and quality multimedia services are automatically available to all Eurotel customers, no special activation is required. A Eurotel SIM card and a UMTS mobile handset is all that customers need to be able to use the services.
Mobile TV
With Mobile TV owners of UMTS handsets are able to stream TV channels. In addition to TV Óčko music channel and ČT24 news there is also Eurosport commented in Czech and Meteo TV bringing the latest weather info available. Unlimited access to all the offered channels is for as little as CZK 20 per day, CZK 75 per week and CZK 150 for 30-day service. All data transmission fees are included in these rates.
On-line traffic cameras
With Eurotel on-line traffic cameras customers get real time traffic information directly to their UMTS handset. Video images from traffic cameras monitoring traffic at roads and intersections are delivered to customers' mobile telephones. Currently the service is available in Prague; gradually, information from camera systems in other cities throughout the Czech Republic will be available as well. Customers will be charged only CZK 10 for 30 minutes access to all traffic cameras now, the data transmission fee is included.Newly, the traffic cameras info can be obtained by the means of video calls directed to *92. Available cameras and roads will be displayed on customer's display, customers will use handset keys to choose from the offered options. Each menu item is assigned a number from 1 to 9, after customer selects the relevant key, requested information will be displayed. Unlimited access through video calling will be charged CZK 1 per minute.
