Eurotel slashes Summer Roaming prices. Also introduces simplified worldwide pricing
Prague, 14th June 2006 – Eurotel Praha, spol. s r.o. today announced introduction of a summer roaming promotion effectively reducing the prices of roaming calls from all networks in favourite holiday destinations by almost 60 %. At the same time, Eurotel launches a new simplified approach to roaming prices for worldwide destinations based on zones with highly competitive and easy to understand pricing.
Summer offering of roaming services - savings up to 60 % off roaming fees all summer to popular holiday destinations in Europe and beyond.
Following the complex roaming offering entitled 'My Europe' introduced by two mobile branches of the Telefónica Group - O2 and Telefónica Móviles, and with the summer holiday period fast approaching, Eurotel announces a dramatic reduction in the calling prices in popular holiday destinations applicable to any network selected. Between 15th June and 31st August 2006 all Eurotel customers who activate the summer roaming offer 'My Europe' will pay only CZK 14.90/min for outgoing calls when travelling 15 selected countries; this reduction represents more than 60 % savings over the existing roaming rates. The single rate will be valid during the entire promotion and will apply to all networks in the visited country. The service is activated for free, and unlike services provided by other networks has no additional one-time set-up fee or activation fees.
"Eurotel is pleased to introduce these savings at a time when and where people need them most - during the summer holiday season in the destinations where the Czechs are most likely to travel" says Andrei Torriani, Chief Commercial Officer of Eurotel, "and these savings are delivered on all networks without the need to worry on which network you roam."
The summer promo includes the most favourite summer destinations of Czech tourists: Croatia, Slovakia, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, Ireland, United Kingdom, Turkey, Hungary, Bulgaria and Greece. Additionally two other destinations out of Europe, Egypt and Tunisia, are also added. The summer promotion rates will apply to all incoming calls received in the given countries, outgoing calls made in the visited country and calls directed to the Czech Republic. In other countries rates according to the simplified roaming price list will apply. (see further).

Customers can activate the summer roaming promotion free of charge by calling at *30 or by sending an SMS with text LETO sent to the following number: 999111. After the summer promotion period, the new, simplified roaming rates will automatically apply.
More transparent billing - three zones, single rate for each zone
To simplify roaming service pricing, Eurotel's roaming services will now be split into three basic zones of international destinations. A single rate will apply to calls made within the zone, and to calls directed to the Czech Republic regardless of the selected operator or time when the call is made. Thanks to the new structure pre and post-pay customers travelling abroad can roam onto any network without having to check specific rates for calling, look for the best operator or wait until certain time of the day to make their call. SMS pricing will also be a flat price no matter where one travels in the world.

The prices are quoted in CZK excluding applicable VAT. Per minute billing will apply. The amended price list is valid from 15th June and under the conditions introduced at www.eurotel.cz shall replace the standard fees charged to prepay and post-pay customers.
