You Will Always Find Your Way with Map Search
Prague, 3rd February 2006 – Eurotel Praha, spol. s r.o. launched a handy Map Search service at its Eurotel Live! portal. Customers can search not only for cities, streets or specific places, they can also plan their car travel itinerary showing detail information and selected roads on the map of the Czech Republic. The service is also available at 3G wap in the UMTS network.
With Map Search customers can look for cities, streets and places on a detail colour map directly on their handset display. They can choose a detail or brief itinerary to find the fastest or shortest path to the place they are looking for. All they have to do is to enter the name of the street or place (bank, restaurant, etc.) they are looking for in the menu and mark it as the start or destination. The service will find and display on the map the best connection, information about distance and the time it takes to get to the destination.
Besides streets, Map Search can also find hotels, hospitals, pharmacies, ATM machines, post offices, shopping centres, offices and other government institutions as well as more than 14 thousand restaurants all over the Czech Republic, historical monuments and places of interest, parks, train stops, refuelling stations, car repair service, and of course places where customers of pre-paid cards can top up their credit and Eurotel brand stores. There is also a new interesting feature in the "Accommodation" section, customers can view photos of hotels and available rooms.
Map Search is very easy to use, customers will find it at wap.eurotel.cz, section "Find"; for Eurotel customers the site is automatically set as their home site.
