PROTECTED WORKSHOP EASTER MARKETS TAKING PLACE IN ČESKÝ TELECOM BUILDINGS

On Wednesday, April 5, Easter markets will take place in ČESKÝ TELECOM buildings in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, České Budějovice, Ústí nad Labem and Hradec Králové. Visitors will be able to buy Easter decorations, gifts for visitors, and other original objects created in protected workshops. The proceeds from these sales will be given to the protected workshops of the charity and non-profit organisations that are participating in these Easter markets.

Protected workshops employ handicapped or disabled persons. By means of this activity, ČESKÝ TELECOM is making an effort to support charitable organisations and to enable its employees, business partners and those who visit the operator’s branches to make their Easter holidays more pleasant with exceptional gifts and decorations.

A total of 25 protected workshops from throughout the Czech Republic are participating in the joint event put together by ČESKÝ TELECOM and the Information Centre for Non-Profit Organisations. Those who visit participating ČESKÝ TELECOM buildings will be able to choose from a colourful offer of small gift items, such as painted eggs, crocheted little hats for eggs, candles, handmade paper and items created from dyed silk or batik. The markets will be open from 07:30 until 14:00

"These Easter markets are only one of the several projects through which we support non-profit organizations. For instance, together with the Information Centre for Non-Profit Organisations we have been running a program called the Small Donations Fund, through which we support projects being carried out by private non-profit organisations and individuals for whom small donations are a huge help," said Press Spokesman Martin Žabka, explaining other activities that the Czech Republic’s largest operator is involved with.
