ONE THOUSAND FREE CALLING MINUTES AND A LINE FOR ONE KORUNA

Everyone who orders a fixed line in February or March 2006 will receive one thousand free calling minutes. During this period they will also get installation for the symbolic price of one koruna. ČESKÝ TELECOM will automatically provide all those who subscribe to new telephone lines with the Friends service and the following value-added services free of charge: Call Rerouting, Small Conference, Call Waiting, e-bill and other. The thousand free calling minutes offer is for making calls in the fixed network in the republic and customers have three months to use it.“This special offer makes it easier to order a fixed line for everyone who wants to enjoy broadband Internet or is interested in the ever-popular Telefon Volno and Volno Plus tariffs, which enable subscribers to call during off-peak hours free of charge,” stated Simon Burckhardt, Executive director for Sales and Marketing for residential segment of ČESKÝ TELECOM, adding: “We are now also offering the broadband O2 Internet Expres service at a special price of one koruna and we have permanently raised this service to an entirely different qualitative level.”
ČESKÝ TELECOM has made dramatic improvements to the parameters of its broadband O2 Internet Expres connections. It has increased the connection speed by up to four times and simplified the rules regarding data limits, making its Fair User Policy even more agreeable. It has done all of this while preserving the current prices.
Customers can order fixed telephone lines and the O2 Internet Expres service through the Internet at www.telecom.cz or www.internetexpres.cz, by calling the operator’s toll-free service line on 800 123 456, at Telepoint, Telepoint Partner and Eurotel branded sales points, and at other selected partner sales outlets and hypermarkets.
Today, modern telephones for fixed lines are also at a higher level of quality. In addition to convenience and reliability, they offer many useful functions that exceed those of mobile telephones in many respects. SMS in the fixed network is still for 1 CZK, monthly customers send approximately 350 000 SMS over the fixed line.
