ČESKÝ TELECOM’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS INTENDS TO PROPOSE A DIVIDEND PAYMENT OF CZK 45 PER SHARE

The Board of Directors of ČESKÝ TELECOM intends to propose at the Annual General Meeting which is to be held at the end of April 2006 a dividend payment of CZK 45 per share, i.e. total amount of CZK 14,494,046 thousand with the payment in the second half of 2006. This represents the distribution of the full 2005 net profit and retained earnings of the previous periods. This proposal reflects the situation where no dividends were distributed for the previous financial year and the Company’s generation of profit and strong free cash.Martin Zabka
