No more FUP
Enjoy the Internet without FUP. From April you can surf without limits with O2 Internet ADSL.
No more limits for downloading
On April 1, 2008, we canceled the Fair User Policy (FUP) for all O2 Internet ADSL services. This means you can download, and upload, as much data as you want without worrying about a slow connection at the end of the month.
No FUP for all ADSL connections starting April 1, 2008
- O2 Internet ADSL
- in the O2 Trio bundle
- in the O2 Duo bundle
- in the O2 Duo Mobil bundle
- as part of the O2 Internet Komplet service
Cancellation of the FUP means that from April 1, 2008, we are neither counting nor limiting the amount of data that you transfer. You will not experience a drop in connection speed because there is no longer a maximum data transfer volume to exceed. The quality of your O2 Internet ADSL service has thus been increased. The FUP is being canceled for all new and existing O2 Internet ADSL subscribers. Data flow may, however, be controlled in the event of, for instance, a network overload.

Customers using ADSL with PPPoA protocol will continue to pay according to the current FUP. If you use an ADSL connection with PPPoA protocol, we recommend that you request a free protocol change. On April 1, 2008, we will automatically cancel the FUP for all customers using ADSL with PPPoE protocol.
