O2 Accelerator optimizes data transmission for GPRS and HSCSD Internet connections, significantly speeding up data transmission. During normal Internet usage, it makes data transmission 30 to 80 percent faster than it is with a normal connection. You can use the service immediately after you have installed the O2 Accelerator Plus application.

O2 Accelerator Plus application

The foundation of the O2 Accelerator service is the O2 Accelerator Plus application, which optimizes data directly on your computer. Data is compressed at our acceleration server and transmitted to your computer, where Accelerator Plus expands the data back to its original size. This process also works in reverse, accelerating data coming from your computer (e.g. when sending email). With this type of acceleration, the quality remains unchanged. The O2 Accelerator Plus client program can be downloaded here, free of charge.*

The current version of the O2 Accelerator Plus application may not function correctly on some computers using O2 GPRS/EDGE. To solve this, simply download this file and install it, after which the application will work properly.
