ČESKÝ TELECOM AND EUROTEL ARE THE OFFICIAL PARTNERS OF THE KARLOVY VARY IFF AGAIN THIS

Thanks to Eurotel’s reservation system, festival visitors will not have to stand in queues for tickets. ČESKÝ TELECOM is the official provider of broadband O2 Internet Expres connections that will be available to visitors free of charge.

This year, ČESKÝ TELECOM and Eurotel Praha are once again partners and official suppliers at the 41st annual International Film Festival in Karlový Vary. Festivalgoers will be able to get tickets to individual screenings through the already traditional opportunity to use a reservation system from Eurotel. Only Eurotel customers can use their mobile phones to reserve tickets through SMS, others will be able to order their tickets through the Eurotel Live! WAP portal. ČESKÝ TELECOM has is also preparing an opportunity for film buffs to surf for free through O2 Internet Expres connections set up in Internet cafés.

In addition to their own practical services, both companies have prepared accompanying programs for film fans. The twelve Miss Czech Republic finalists will be coming to Karlový Vary to participate in the “Miss Game” competition, which is being organized by the GameZone game portal. The girls will race in Formula 1 simulators, in which all visitors will be able to test their racing abilities for the entire duration of the festival. The best virtual racers will be awarded fabulous prizes.

In the Dvořák Gardens, those interested in modern technology will be able to try out UMTS mobile technology and O2 Internet Expres broadband connections. There will be a stand with snow cones here and on July 1-2 and July 5-6, all visitors will have the opportunity to mimic their film idols thanks to a tattoo salon. During the entire festival, visitors can enter their photographs in MMS format to the “Standing With the Stars” contest and the most original author of each day will be awarded a mobile telephone. In front of Kino Čas (the Time Cinema), film buffs can get information about all festival events and about reserving tickets through SMS and Eurotel Live!.
