Anti-virus protection

We offer the development and operation of a centralized, comprehensive anti-virus protection (AVP) system for your end stations and servers. On the basis of an audit we will suggest the optimum solution for centralized AVP and provide active anti-virus monitoring 24 hours a day.

Comprehensive anti-virus protection

The AVP service provides complete protection from viruses and centralized surveillance of end stations and NT servers of the IT infrastructures of medium and large companies. It is based on the existing and functional infrastructure with operational provisions. The service is not limited by the number of the client's end stations and it includes:

  • AVP for computers, servers, and mail servers
  • protected Internet access
  • general AVP on the W9x, WNT, W2K and WXP platforms
  • utilization of McAfee Active Virus Defense or Symantec Norton Antivirus principles

Supply of anti-virus software

The services may include the supply of anti-virus software for the central server and for the end devices providing the Anti-Virus Protection administration. The supplied anti-virus software is based on the principle of McAfee Active Virus Defense or Symantec Norton Anti-Virus.
Anti-virus modules are distributed to computers via LAN and WAN and new versions of anti-virus software are installed regularly.

Active control of the virus risk

The service provides central control of the customer's anti-virus IT structure with the aim of protecting the devices against virus attack and, in the case of an attack, to ensure removal of the virus as quickly as possible.
The service includes general AVP of the customer's end devices on the Microsoft W98, Me, WNT/W2K, WXP platforms. In addition to the AVP of PCs, the service may also protect WNT/W2K servers and mail servers.

Service intervention

The service is intended for quick removal of a virus attack and immediate restoration of service of the device concerned. Service is provided in the entire Czech Republic by the system consisting of the central Help Desk and the team of anti-virus professionals. The central Help Desk receives the customer's requirements and defines the problem.
In the case of a virus attack the service takes specific steps towards elimination of the attack and removal of the viruses from the end device on the following levels:

  • through remote access from the surveillance site
  • by means of physical intervention at the customer's site
  • by means of data recovery and restoration of OS
