Dial-in
The Dial In service is a simple and cheap way of connecting to Telefónica O2 Czech Republic’s data network of by means of X.28 and X.25 (X.32) protocols. Connection to the network is possible by dialing the telephone number of the Dial In service from any location.
What the service offers
The service provides simple access to many applications and information databases. At the same time, it is possible to use the service interconnection individual branch offices with their headquarters, for communication with customers and/or suppliers, and to set up a cashless payment system with a bank.
Target users
The Dial In service is a suitable solution for users that have lower demands in terms of their volume of transferred data, or with only an occasional need for communication.

Connection to other services
Together with other Telefónica O2 Czech Republic services, the Dial In service provides a comprehensive solution with high utility value. The data network enables Dial In connections to communicate with connections of the Direct and Dir-is services as well as with foreign data networks. In combination with the Direct and Dir-is services, the Dial In service enables the users to optimize their monthly fee in relation to the volume of transferred data.
Pricing
The price of the Dial In service consists of a lump sum for acquiring the service and a regular monthly fee for supply of the service. Requirements
The modem on the user's side is not a part of the Dial In service. The user may use various types of modems that are approved for use in the public telephone network and correspond to one of the recommendations in the technical specifications of the service. The access protocol may be X.28 for asynchronous access or X.25 (X.32) for synchronous access.
